The term is a joke that does not refer to one specific position.

In adult entertainment (porn); titanic sex has been used as a pun to refer to several things including:

1. sex in a car (a reference to the sex scene in the movie Titanic)

2. switching from vaginal sex to anal sex (going 'down below', a reference to the Titanic sinking)

3. oral sex (usually a reference to the phrase: 'she's going down', where in the male is standing or sitting and the women must kneel down to reach with her mouth)

So really it has no meaning to an exact position but any number of positions where 'down' can be used as a pun in reference to the Titanic (ship) going down and sinking.

Outside of adult entertainment films there are numerous jokes that use titanic sex as part of the punchline, again these are not something most people would do, they would only say it.

An example of joke punchlines:

Joke: 'How do you do titanic sex?'

Punchline: Hit her in the face with an ice cube and than make her go down on you.

The ice cube of course being a reference to the ice berg that hit the Titanic. Variants on the joke include hitting her with an ice tray, or a snow ball. More extreme versions may include more vulgar sex acts that try and give the joke more variety.

The joke (how do you do titanic sex?), in a similar fashion as the aristocrats(joke) had a cult following for a short time (back when the movie Titanic came out); it was somewhat common for small groups of friends to try and one up each other with ever increasingly more vulgar (or violent) versions of the punchline.

This has mostly fallen out of fashion in the last decade due to the fact that the titanic joke is short and obvious; where as the aristocrats starts off seemingly innocent and lends itself to a greater depth of storytelling.
