If you know that an update is needed, you can turn it on, update the playstation, then turn it off. If the playstation is not downloading the update or applying the update it can be turned off. An update can't even be started without the user explicitly starting the update. Depending on your internet speed, updates can be fast (< 5 mins) or slow (hours).

Upon powering on the PlayStation, access the Memory Card from the menu and you can drag and drop game save data. Once you have the data you need, shut off the system and remove the Memory Card. Then insert the Memory Card into another PlayStation system and the data on the card can now be used on the second system. Keep in mind that the Memory Card must remain in the PlayStation that you are using, as the PlayStation lacks internal storage.

Go to your Wii's memory settings and go to channels then erase save data for Netflix. Be careful to not accidentally erase the channel itself though. When you are done, open Netflix, and it will ask you to log in. Also, If you choose to sell your Wii, be sure to erase the memory of your Netflix so buyers do not get to watch for free.
