If the converter box has been working until now, it is likely to be a fault that has developed. However, it's worth checking all connections. You are likely to see either an HDMI connector or some RCA plugs at the rear of the box running to the television. Make sure they are fitted properly. Next, turn the power off to the converter box and back on again after a few seconds. A reset of this type may correct the problem.
As a final thought, check that the television is set to the correct input to display the output of the converter.
If none of these things fix the problem, the box may need to be repaired or replaced but bear in mind that the fault could also be with the television rather than the box.
