How do you get Darkrai without an action replay in Pokemon platinum?

The only LEGIT way is through the event, And for previous answer; that's not Darkrai, it's Cresellia. You can glitch the game, but its not reccomended.

To do this, Beat the Elite four; then challenge them again. On the fourth door entrance (Correct me if im wrong) Use surf. It glitches the game and takes out the wall boundaries. You can simply "Surf" to the islands where you catch darkrai and shaymin.

Shaymin's island is adjacent to the Elite Four (North east). once there, use your explorer kit. Without moving, go back up.

Save, and then catch Shaymin.

I have no idea where darkrai's island is, Sorry. Darkrai's island is easy to get but with action replay ok go to Canalve city or whatever it is go to the guy to sail you to the island and use run through anything go ove the Mt. and Darkrai will be sitting in a little pond.

In other words... use the action replay cheat walk or run through walls and then sail to full moon island and walk through the walls and the right side of the island and keep walk right until you run into the island where darkrai is. =) / just make sure you have a masterball.

you activate wifi mystery gift and you must have less than three wonder cards you must also have done the cresselia thing and talked to the man in the tv station and say every one happy and wifi connection then go to the house with the locked door in canalave and it will open and then u fight darkrai

Get a GameShark and use it to get Darkrai. I have heared that there is a glitch that could stuff up your game, but it may be only in the jap version

Well you could go to Japan and go to the event there or you could wait till it comes to your country .
