you cant actually get a deoxys in diamond and pearl but you can get it in leafgreen firered and emerald through a Nintendo event then migrate it to diamond/pearl in palpark p.s. you might already know this but if you don't listen up you know the metiorits in veilstone city i think it is if you have a deoxys you can change its type using those metiorites example you use it with 1 and its an attack deoxys you use it on a metiorite and it becomes a speed deoxys etc
