the only way is to trade an item for an armor fossil with a person that has Pokemon pearl or platinum version because you cant get an armor fossil in diamond.
Then bring your armor fossil to the professor behind (behind the counter)
in the Oreburgh City Mining Museum.
Then you will have a shieldon.
When it gets to level 30 it will evolve into a BASTIODON!!!!!!!!!!!

you get Pokemon pearl and another ds and trade a Pokemon over which is holding the armor fossil, which when revived in the oreburg museum will be shieldon, which evolves into bastiodon
the only way to get a bastiodon is by evolving a sheildon at level 30 you can get a sheildon by diging up the armored fossil only in Pokemon pearl.
