or u could use action replay and use the walk through walls cheat or the Members Pass cheat

if u use walk through walls,

for the event, when u find darkai he is lvl 40

It is very easy to catch, just pack a few dusk balls

Who ever said darkrai can only be gotten in a Nintendo event u r really dumb.... if u get 3 ppl 2 gether and use mystery gift u can get items from a guy in green at a shop in one of the towns... once u find him he will give u an item...u can do that to get Darkrai, Arceus, and Sheyminif you use the walk through walls cheat go to fullmoon island and go right till you8 get to new moon island and you find darkrai there. You can only get it by receiving it from a Nintendo event; by receiving a key item from a Nintendo event called the Member Card, which allows you to go on a quest that ends with catching Darkrai; or by cheating.
You need to go to a Nintendo Pokemon event or use action replay to cheat. You will need to get a Members Card from either of these. Hope this helps!

Austin Klosner- Nice try but...no.. you are rite about the action replay and Nintendo event but heres the esiest way to get him... 1) Beat Pokemon lege 2) go to full moon island and go right using run/ walk anywhere cheat from an action replay. 3)Keep going rite till you reach new moon island and go throug the forest you will need lots of pokeballs and save even if his life is own to 1% it probubly will still take a couple hours to catch him. Bring lots of awakings he knows hipnoses! after you catch him thers a ferry bout on the island so you can either fly home or you can take that ferry home your choice. Have fun with darkraie! This cheat also works on platinum...i think....

You would need to trade for it from another friend or use an Action Replay with the correct code for your version. There are no more events for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl for this kind of Pokemon.

First u must get an action replay or go 2 a Pokemon event the in pokemart talk 2 green man he will give u a club membership thingy. then go to the place where u battled Byron and go into the locked house and finally take the ship to full moon island and darkrais waiting in a puddle xD

Improved Answer:You can press X, and pick Pokedex from the menu. Click on Search Pokemon. Click on Type, and scroll until you see Dark. Click Search. You should get a whole string of Dark-Type Pokemon. Find one you want to catch, and click on it. Click on Area, and you'll see where you can find this Pokemon. Head to that area, and keep walking through the grass until you find, battle, and catch the Pokemon.

you have to go to canvel city and then go to a house where you will see a boy in bed talk to him and he will say{dar...dark...is watching...me..}then go outside,go to the bridge cross it and go to a house behind the Pokemon center when you go inside go to the bed and sleep when you wake up you will be in full moon island if your games was made before 2009 it will not work it needs a action replay and that's how u catch darkri same with creselia its at full moon island but it will fly away
Go to new moon island. you could do this with a event or a ar cheat code. run trough anything or dakrai event.

get the members card go in the inn after you rest save your card and look for darkrai he's level 40 and very hard, if you can i would suggest the 999 master balls cheat.
