How do you get mesprite on pokemonn diamond?

Well... you won't be able to catch those three little legendaries until you've beaten Team Galactic's boss Cyrus . Anyway. This is when you're finally over and done with Galactic. Mesprit is located in one of the three lakes on the map. I don't remember which one... so you could visit all three. Uxie and Azelf are in the other two. One of the three will run from you...

If Mesprit is the one to run, then chase it, of course. The marker map PokeApp will come in handy, here. It will show you where Mesprit is at all times. But, you cannot simply fly to the city nearest its location. You have to walk/run/ride/surf there... If you fly to it, it will just jump to somewhere else on the map, far away.

Otherwise, use this. Here's a code. It's titled "Catch any Pokemon" in my AR.

Ok, here's the deal. First, before you activate this code, you need to make sure that you have an item you don't want or need in the first slot in the "Items" pocket of your bag. This will be replaced with Masterballs when you activate the code.

Next, press L and R at the same time to activate the code. You should find 493 Masterballs in the first slot of the Items pocket of your bag. You may just want to leave them there, considering every time you activate the code hereafter, it will replace that first slot.

In order to find Mesprit you need to have 481 Masterballs, since it's its number in the Nat'l Dex. You need to toss 12 Masterballs, which will leave you with 481 Masterballs. (I subtracted 481 from 493, which gives you 12. So, you need to toss 12 Masterballs.)

Now, go to some tall grass. Hold down L while walking around in the tall grass. When you find a wild Pokemon, it should be Mesprit. It's not always the Pokemon you're looking for, though, so you may have to try more than once. (So don't panic when it's not a Mesprit!!)

Here's the extra plus: As long as you have at least 1 Masterball (which would give you a Bulbasaur, by the way) you have an unlimited supply of Masterballs!! You can use these in other battles to catch wild Pokemon, because whenever you use one, it does not affect how many you have left... It remains the same. And if you need a higher number Pokemon than the number of Masterballs you have, just press L and R again and it will replenish your supply, bringing you back up to 493 (which would give you an Arceus, by the way...)!!

If you don't like to cheat, I'll give you my tips

1. Put it to sleep. It will always runs so it never wakes up.

2. Run between a route/route, route/city, ect. It will move when you do so, so that you don't have to chase it around.

3. Buy lots of dusk balls, nest balls, and quick balls. They all work really well on all three brothers, and Cresselia.

4. Buy false swipe at the vailstone dept. store. It will help tremendously trying to catch a Pokemon only at 1 hp.

5. Never give up. Keep trying and you will get it sooner or later. He is persistant so you should be too.
