u cannot catch riolu but u get it as an egg when u go to iron island.
first u go to the right get through the tunnel then go to the left where a blue guy will be make sure u have 1 empty slot and he will follow u.
then u defeat team galactic guys and he will ask u to take an egg u say yes and when it hatches you will have riolu at level one though
