How do you get rotom on Pokemon Platinum?

You get it by going to the old chateau at night and going into the room with the tv.You talk to the tv and it says that a Pokemon is in the tv.You choose yes when it asks you to thump the tv,and a level 20 rotom jumps out.

To get Rotom in Pokémon Platinum you need to go to the Eterna Forest and go into the Mansion just by the exit to Eterna city. Search all the T.V.'s from 8:00pm to 4:00am until you find one you can thump. If you did this right, a Level 20 Rotom will come out and attack you. You can also change Rotoms forms with the Mystery Gift by going to the Jubilife City and going in the 3rd floor of the Jubilfe T.V. Station. Once there talk to the man in the bottom room and tell him Everyone And Happy! Finally Tell Wi-Fi and Connection and then he will give you the Mystery Gift which you can get at the starting screen over Wi-Fi Connection.The mystery gift is a key that if you go to eterna city and into the galactic base (commander jupiter must be defeated) stand next to the TV on the bottom floor (stand to the left of the tv) then click the A button, this will open a secret room in the wall that will lead you to some mechanical objects in a bright orange colour, click one of them (rotom must be in your party) and then rotom will transform into that object, once it has transformed it will try and learn a new move, if learned that move it will forget once rotom turns into original forme. hope this helps! you can change it at team galactics building but first you need the key then cut down the tree go inside go to far left corner face the wall then use your key

Take the Rotom to Silph Co. in Saffron city and go down the elevator.
