To be able to battle Fantina, the fifth Gym Leader, you must have successfully beaten Roark, Gardenia, Maylene and Crasher Wake.
When you have done this, go to Hearthome City. In the top right of the town there's the Gym.
Once inside, take the doors in this order:
# Right Door # Middle Door # Left Door # Right Door You should now be standing right in front of the Gym leader. Skip through her stupid French jibbering and she will challenge you. She has these pokemon:
Lv.34 DRIFBLIM
Lv.36 MISMAGIUS
Lv.33 GENGAR
She's quite tough, so buy plenty of Super Potions and keep a basic strategy in mind.
Remember though: Normal type moves have no effect on her Pokemon!
