Seeing the future is an impossibility so there no way to answer your question. New episodes of Sesame Street began premiering on HBO in February 2016 & they will air on PBS 9 months later. It was renewed by HBO for five additional seasons lasting through its 50th.
From what I can find online, it looks like Sesame Street has been nominated for 13 Primetime Emmy Awards and has won 7 of them. All of their Primetime Emmy wins were between 1970 and 1976. In 1974, the Daytime Emmy was created and in 1976, Sesame Street won it's first Daytime Emmy. Between 1976 and 2011, Sesame Street has been nominated for 286 Daytime Emmys, winning 125 of them. This is almost 3.5 wins per year since 1976. In total, Sesame Street has been nominated for 299 Emmys and has won 132. I can't find any statistics online but I would assume they have the most Daytime Emmy wins and Combined Emmy wins of all time.

Kermit just didn't make cameo appearances on Sesame Street; he had a recurring role, and had his own segment, "Sesame Street News Flash". His last one was in 2001. However, even after the Walt Disney Company bought the rights to Kermit, he made a cameo during the Elmo's World: Frogs segment on Episode 4187.

Sesame Street provides children with an additional educational experience because it uses characters and games to make educational points more memorable and easier to watch.
Ernie's bath time friend in Sesame Street is a a duck. Ernie is a long time favorite Sesame Street character to many. His "rubber ducky" toy he uses in the bathtub even has a song Ernie sings. "Rubber Ducky your the one! You make bath time lots of fun!"

Mrs. Grouch is Oscar's mother. She has visited Sesame Street various times over the years, including a 1993 episode to make sure that her son is still grouchy and hasn't been turned nice by the other residents. That same year, she also appeared in the special Sesame Street Stays Up Late, communicating by phone with her son and other relatives. In her most recent visit to Sesame Street, she was performed by Leslie Carrara-Rudolph.
