I saw it in South Africa and bought the plastic men (like draughts/checkers).
It is like poor men's 8 ball only the "men" slide instead of like 8 ball the balls roll.
I do not think the dimensions of the table are critical, but the surface is masonite and they put talcum powder on it to help the "men slide" .
The board is about 600x600 I made ours a bit smaller to fit inside the motorhome wardrobe and there are holes in the 4 corners like pockets in a pool table. I made mine then made the holes a bit bigger because it was too difficult.
Masonite is a bit wobbly so I glued mine to a plywood base, the base has to be small enough to allow the men to fall through the pockets. (the board is bigger than the base) Once again the size of the base is not critical.
So now you have a flat masonite sheet glued to a plywood base with the pockets cut out in the corners.
Like a pool table you need cushions but once again the size is not critical they just have to be higher than the men. So glue or screw or nail or staple on a border (cushions on a pool table) sort of like a picture frame. They work better with rubber on the cushions and any section rubber will do whatever you can buy.
So your board should now resemble a pool table with pockets in the 4 corners but with masonite dusted with talc instead of felt on a pool table.
Draw a circle in the middle for the men (like a triangle for 8 ball) and set the men up with alternate colours around the circle.
The "cue ball " disc has a dint in it so you can flick it with your finger.
The rules are as follows:
Players take turns clockwise (first colour tokens are pocketed then the Queen).
The colour of your team is determined by the first token pocketed in a hole.
If you pocket your (cue ball) with a token and there are no other tokens in the holes yet, the token gets taken out, placed back in the centre and teams are free to pocket any colour again.
If you pocket a token of your team's colour, you player gets another turn until you miss a hole.
If you pocket your shooter, you have to take one of your tokens out of a hole and put it in the centre circle.
If you pocket your shooter and there aren't any tokens sunk yet, you remove a token once you sink it.
If you pocket your shooter and one of your colour tokens, you have to take one of your tokens out of a pocket and place it in the circle.
If you pocket colour of the opposite teamyou have to take one of your tokens out and you miss a turn (the opponent gets 2 shots).
If you pocket your shooter with your opponent's token, the token stays but one of your team's tokens needs to be taken out.
If you pocket your shooter with the Queen (blue) before your colours are finished, you have to take out the queen and 3 tokens of their colour.
If your shooter is pocketed with the Queen on the final shot then yoou take the Queen out and one of your tokens.
If a token is shot off the board, the token is placed back in the centre of the board and you remove one of your tokens out the pocket.
Your shooter can be placed anywhere in the half circle in front of each player (the D), as long as it doesn't go over the line.
If any tokens come into your half circle (D) during the game, they cannot be moved or touched to "get them out of the way".
First one to sink their colours and Queen wins.

I just checked out my board there is one starting "D" in the middle of each side about 200mm high.
The men I have are 9 yellow and 9 red and one Blue (the 8 ball) the Blue goes in the centre.
I have two green "Cue balls" and they are taken off after you shoot so you always shoot fromd the dee.
