Mermaids are not real and you can not make your self into a mermaid. People can not change shape or become other things. It is all make believe and only special effects people can take actors in costume and make it seem like it is real. If you want to be a mermaid get a costume. Otherwise you will never be a mermaid.

Mermaids do not exist- as far as is known- if they did their anatomy would be somewhat different than the popular concept of a Girl with a fish tail. Human beings are Mammals, but Fish are of a lower class- pisces. Mammals and Fish cannot possibly mate. IF, and its a pretty big If, something like a Mermaid did exist- and it is remotely possible, we"ll assume a female- she would be on the smallish side- and be a woman above the waist and below the waist a furry creature akin to a Harbor Seal- wich is a mammal. Seals have llimited amphibious capacity- so she might be able to venture on land- unlike Ariel and the Atlantis girls in the comic books. Below the waist would be a dappled pattern like a Friesian or Holstein Cow- the Harbor seal is a quite attractive Pinniped ( seal-like animal)
