How do you navigate turn back cave?

to navigate turnback cave u must always go forward,never back or u will end up somwhere totally random. trust me. i walked into this cave without even knowing it was turnback cave until i foung giratina.

to find giratina, pick an entrance and always go through that path until u reach giratina

Ok Follow closely. When you are in the room with the writing about dont pass 30 blah blah blah. Go through the WEST door. From there go through the NORTH door. If you have not found a pillar yet repeat that until you do. WEST. NORTH. WEST. NORTH. Do not use anyother door no matter what. When you find a pillar click on it. It will have 2 numbers on it. The top will be the pillar number. 1-3. The bottom number is the number of rooms you have gone through. But there is another way to use this bottom number. (1) If the BOTTOM number is ODD, go through the WEST door. Then to the NORTH. Repeating the same pattern as before. Do this until you find pillar 2. then repeat. (2) If the BOTTOM number is EVEN, go through the NORTH door. Then to the WEST. Repeating the same pattern as before. This method will always work. As long as you find pillar 1 first.

This method isn't working for me, i kep going round in circles, i found pillar two bottom number was odd so i went west north so far i have no giratina

THAAAANKS ! For anyone else reading this , it MAY take a while , but it WORKS if you follow the instuctions properly ! It took me 5-10 minutes . I was stuck in turnback cave , and it SUCKED , until I read this ! Don't give up , and you'll find your way out !

if u come back later after u caught giratina go to the spot where u caught it and you will find a rare bone u can do it again and again if u start back from the front and u will find a rare bone every time u come back to that spot, u are also supposed to find the ghost of chateau there but i haven't found it yet

In order to unlock the Turnback Cave in Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Pearl and Pokémon Platinum, you have to defeat the Elite 4 and the Champion as well as obtain the National Dex.
