How do you play PlayStation 2 games on the PlayStation 3?

Actually all PlaySation 3's can play PlayStation 2 games on them no matter what the gb. I have a 40gb PlayStation 3 and I play PlayStation 3 games on it all the time. But you have to go to the PlayStation Store and download the free PlayStation 2 content to play pPlayStation 2 games on a PlayStation 3. Basically, you do the same thing you have do, to play a PlayStation 3 game.

By save, do you mean can you save your game? Yes - go to the Internal Memory Cards feature under the GAME option on your PS3's menu and create a virtual PS2 memory card. Assign that to Slot 1 and then you'll be able to save your game. You cannot move the entire PlayStation 2 game onto your PS3's hard drive.

Well, the only way that you will be able to play PS2 games on a PS3 is if you happen to be lucky enough to own a backwards compatible 60GB PS3. If you don't, then it is impossible, unless Sony decides to offer them as downloads via the PlayStation Store.

If you do get a backwards compatible PS3 just pop the disc in and start it up.

You must build a file for the Memory card in your harddrive if you have a 4 USB port PS3

It records amount of gamplay used and stores it. When u play the game again re replays the game play u have completed and locks out what u havent yet unlocked.
