The way to get two players in Star Ocean is to first go to a city named Peterny. Once you've rested up and met Ameena, you have to rescue her. After you have resued her, you are able to go to The Royal City of Aquaria. To go here, go to the central plaza of Peterny. Afterwards, go North. Once you have left that town, head North-West. After you have done so, follow that path until you see a save point. Save, and then go into the The Aquatic Garden of Surferio. Just use your intellect to pass all of the puzzle cubes. Fight the Guardian of the Paraclesis Table, and get that table. Then go back to Peterny and give the Table to Welch, the girl who introduced you to Item Inventing.
