When something can be said to give visible or tangible form to a thought, idea, or ideal, that thing can be said to 'embody' that concept. This use is also sometimes applied to a person or place.

As a derivative, you can also say that that person, place, or thing is the 'embodiment' of that concept.

"The dog was the living embodiment of loyalty."
