You write: Dear Mr. Waters (Or to Whom it May Concern) Hi. My name is _________ and I am a big fan of your The Spiderwick Chronicles Movie. I was wondering what you thought of making a movie of the book __________. I really enjoyed it, and think other kids my age would liketo see it in a movie. I was wondering if you would read it and consider making it a movie. Thank you for your time _____________ Then you write a letter to the Author Dear __________ Hi! I am a big fan of your book _________. I enjoyed it so much, that I wrote Mark Waters and asked him to make it into a movie. I just wanted you to know your book was THE BEST EVER and I felt so strongly I want to see it on the big Screen. Would you PLEASE consider making it into a movie? Sincerley, ______________ You are showing the Movie Director you loved the book and think it would make a great movie, and you are showign the Author that you think it deserves to be a movie. Now the Author feels flattered and the Director has something to read. Now what you have to do is tell all your friend to read the book and ask then to send a letter to the Movie director as well. 1 kid's idea is not as strong as 40 kid's thoughts on the subject.
