I have a '91 Corolla DX (which I love). -To reset the hour, you have to push the "H" button. -To reset the minutes, use the "M" button. -If you push the "SET" button, it will reset the time to the nearest hour, according to what the display already shows. If the clock shows between 1:01 and 1:29, pushing the "SET" button will change it to 1:00. If the clock shows between 1:30 and 1:59, the "SET" button will change it to 2:00. - Every time the battery is disconnected, the clock will go back to 1:00 and need to be reset.
