Often, it will be packed into a metal cylinder with a cage ending. This will prolong the show as the steel wool rests in the cylinder and feeds into the cage where it burns. The cage is often built of chickenwire or something similar. You'll probably want to wear eye protection and something to cover your skin and head. NEVER try this on your own!
