I need help someone plz answer how 2 get characters!!! I know to get kusaka you need to beat him with toushirou, and arrancars u need 2 beat in less then 5 turns, but how do u get seigen, former versions and newer versions of captains etc, and is iba playable?
I don't think Iba is playable because he doesn't appear in any battles for more than the opening dialouge, so I dout it.
Okay for Seigen (battle twenty, i think) you need to win the entire battle in 5 turns. This also unlocks Konoka. For Gin (battle 5 or 6) you need some fast movers to reach and defeat him in five turns to unlock him, the same for Tosen. You can't unlock any variant on Gin or Tosen, just the normal ones.
For Aizen (Hueco Mundo Outfit) you need to pass battle 30 of the Bleach Tower, this also bags you Grimmjow. I unlocked Aizen (Luitenant) when I passed the game and started the tower. Hope that helps. Need any more characters check out the gamespot forums, they helped me a lot.

Grimmjow is hard to unlock, but unlockable. After completing the game you get the choice to try the Bleach Tower which is a series of battles, 30 in total, one after the other. You need to defeat a level90 Grimmjow on the final floor to unlock him. This also bags you Aizen after defecting. Hope that helps.
