depends on whcich action replay you mean, you can only update game and codes on an action replay for ps2, but other action replays (for gamecube,ds,ps3 and other systems) cannot be updated
Well actually I made a mistake in that one, a Action Replay DS can be updated by connecting it through USB to your CPU and opening the Program it came with, then in the top right corner are 2 buttons (A DS and a Action REplay DS), these are update buttons, and about what I said about the ps3 ar not being able to be updated I have no clue since I dont own 1)
