How do you use the Pokemon radar on Pokemon Diamond?

The use of the Survey Radar in quite simple.

After obtaining the Survey Radar, go to the Passing By Mode and answer the question. Answer the question truthfully. Then, when you encounter other players in the Passing By Mode, the information will be shared automatically and you won't need to request the information.

There is no time limit on how long you will need to run the surveys, but there is a limit before you can produce results.

You don't- But you can find a white Flute that lures Pokemon. Heartgold and SoulSilver are remakes from game boy colors in the late 90's. So if its a remake they will keep the Pokemon add the sinnoh ones. And not have a pokeradar because the original one didnt. But you get a dowsing machine from someone in a house in a town (can remember) when it turns rellow and theres a dot your really close to that item. Hope i helped ALOT!

the poke radar will be in the key items section. you would have to stand in a patch of grass or in a flower bed to be using it.

and here's a tip: if you want to keep chaining, it's better to walk using the d-pad instead of the circle pad. otherwise, the chain will be reset.
