You don't type it at all. Torrent files, as far as I know, cannot be passworded. The files inside a torrent though, can be passworded using programs such as WinRaR. You can download and use WinRar for free, and then you right-click on your folder, click 'add to (foldername).rar' and it will create a .rar folder for you which can then be passworded.

∙ 15y agoYou don't. Torrents are just formats used to upload files using the Bittorent protocol. What you could do, though, is compress the files into a .rar format (using WinRar) and password the Winrar file; then you could upload a torrent with that .rar file.
I don't recommend this though, since there's no reason whatsoever to upload a passworded file, you will most likely get banned from the torrent website where you upload this from.
