the northern star Act 3 Scene 1 Caesar: I could be convinced if I were like you. If I could beg others to change their minds, begging would convince me, too. But I'm as immovable as the northern star, whose stable and stationary quality has no equal in the sky. The sky shows countless stars. They're all made of fire, and each one shines. But only one among all of them remains in a fixed position. So it is on earth. The world is full of men, and men are flesh and blood, and they are capable of reason. Yet out of all of them, I know only one who is unassailable, who never moves from his position. To show you that that's me, let me prove it a little even in this case. I was firm in ordering that Cimber be banished, and I remain firm in that decision.

Do films communicate?

Yes. We humans need stories like we need air. You can imagine strangers sitting in a film house watching a story being told, and liken it to human history that began with people sitting around a fire listening to stories. Cinema is a universal medium for communicating, since it's a visual medium. There is no language barrier for laughter or tears and all the emotions in between.

How did maori people know that the south island was shaped as a fish and the north island was shaped as a conoe?

Maori had circumnavigated and thoroughly explored the islands now called New Zealand. It is a very mountainous country and vast areas of the coastline can be seen from a single mountain. In passing on descriptions of the islands it would be natural to liken them to familiar objects and use the imagery in mythology. The Maori name for the North island was te Ika a Maui, which means 'the fish of Maui' - and relates to the legend that the North Island was fished up by Maui. The South Island was called Te waka A Maui (the canoe of Maui)

What is the most current theory for the formation of the earth?

There are multiple different theories about the universe. 1. The Big Bang Theory - The theory that the universe originated sometime between 10 billion and 20 billion years ago from the cataclysmic explosion of a small volume of matter at extremely high density and temperature. 2. Study Sate - The Big Crunch Theory is made possible by Big Bang cosmology, which states that all matter in the universe is now racing away from all other matter. If there is enough matter in the universe to create a gravitational force sufficient to bring this movement to a halt and to reverse its direction, then at some point in the remote future all matter in the universe will converge into an infinitely dense point in space, resembling a massive black hole. The end of the universe would then resemble its beginning-a singularity at which the laws of physics as we know them no longer apply. 3. String Thoery - the String Thoery means that when they are pulled, a big bang happened! When the big bang theory happened, thu Universe expanded, it never started then! It started expanding but never formed. Scientist stil have not found what started the universe. Its all o total mystery! We all want to know how and why "god" made this "planet". but, its still not found. We all also want to know when the universe will end. that would be so nice. I know they say it will be in 2012, but no!
