a boy named Jimmy brings a gun to school b/c he feels left out and he's confused.
the school is on lockdown and he's in the hallway with keith who is trying to talk him out of using the gun.
he winds up shooting himself, but after he falls dead, dan walks in the empty hallway, picks up the gun, and shoots keith.
this gives dan the pleasure of having noone know it was him, b/c everyone would naturally assume it was the kid with the gun.
dan gets away with it, but a girl named abby was behind miniblinds in a classroom and saw the whole scene go down, therefore after all is said and done, there was a witness to the killing of keith, which will ultimately send dan to jail.
