Absolutely. When I was growing up, I was so fond of the long suffering, self sacrificing heroine. It took me decades to learn that no one really likes a "saint" and often resent "self sacrificing". Don't give up too much of yourself. People like cheerful, friendly people that care.

∙ 13y agoHorror movies aren't really good for young children. Younger children have an over-reactive imagination, so they are easily affected by nightmares, spooks, or "sights". Of course, none of this is really TRUE, but they are easily CONVINCED it is. Good movies on the other hand, might be inspirational to the child's behavior. My suggestion is, be prepared. Before going to the movies, or renting a movie for your children, follow these steps:
1. Go online and watch the preview and see if it is suitable for your child.
2. See what it's rated. Everybody and General rated movies are best for children.
3. The movie might have bad words. 1 or 2 won't hurt, but more than enough and your child will be asking what it means.
4. If your child disrespects the movie, like for example, "This movie sucks. I wanna watch Saw IIIIII", your child might be getting this from school or so.
