This model simply claims that Earth and the other planets revolve around the Sun.It is clear, nowadays, that the Sun is the center of the "Solar System", but not of the Universe.

It is also clear that the Sun is not the EXACT center - the Sun and the planets move around the center of mass of the Solar System, which is very close to the Sun due to its larger mass, compared to other objects.

An heliocentric model of the universe is a totally incorrect model in which the sun is at the centre of the universe. It is now well recognised that the sun is just a small star in one of the arms of the milky way galaxy and even that is not the centre of the universe.
