No. Toy Story was not based on a book, but it did have its origin w/ the 1988 short Tin Toy. In the early days of Pixar a TV special titled A Tin Toy Christmas was pitched which had the working title of Toy Story which ultimately developed into the Toy Story we know today.
This cycle play follows the biblical story of Noah. It opens with him praying to God and then as he prepares for the flood and follows him and his family onto the ark and through the flood. It is a medieval play, probably written by the Wakefield Master, at least it was perfromed as part of the Wakefield cycle. It is considered one of the best of its kind. It has comic elements, mostly in the form of Noah's nagging wife. It came early in the cycle, probably third in the thirty two play performance. It is 558 lines long and written in 62 nine line stanzas.
Your first challenge is to invent a story for the clown, and a journey the clown takes while working in the circus, that is dramatic. Once you've developed the story, you can write a script using a proper format for the medium you expect to use, to bring your story to life -- either a stage play or a film.
Once you've envisioned a story with well-developed characters, a standard three-act structure and can define the genre of your story, you can approach a director who specializes in 'your kind of story'. For openers, you'll need a log line: you can see samples of log lines on the dust jacket of any DVD or other packaging for a film. You must be able to pique the director's interest in about two minutes with your log line. If you succeed, the director will be interested in pursuing your story; if you fail, you can find another director.

The Memory Banks should be in Bowsers head. When you can choose where you want to go inside Bowser, go to the Memory Banks in Bowser's head. (But you have to unlock the Memory Banks so you might not have it)
If you mean well developed as in 'mature' then mature would be a good way to describe a well developed character.
