well it was remembered because it at the time titanic was the worlds largest ship and they said it was unsinkable so they only put out half of the life boats needed on it because they thought it was unsinkable. more than half the people died on it when it sunk. plus it was the most famous shipwreck in the world and they made a really famous movie out of it so personally i think the titanic will be remembered for many more years.
The titanic was a ship, said to be "un-sinkable". This was CLEARLY proven WRONG. Hundreds of people perished. Just to add onto the traumatic thoughts about the actual event, a film was made (as you probably know), which made the incident popular within both the historian community, AND Hollywood. Google it- you will realise why it is memorable. Maybe watch the movie too.
It was one of the worse tragedies in history. Many life's were lost due to this.
In film and in song
nearly everyone
how do we remember the titanic
The Titanic is still in the water but some artefacts have been retrieved.
why did the titanic sink
Titanic was really just Titanic. Any and all switch theories have been completely debunked.
Possible, but unlikely. If she hadn't sunk on her maiden voyage, or during any of the world wars, she'd just been another ageing ocean liner. She wouldn't have been remembered as anything special and would have been cut up for scrap when she was no longer profitable.
No. Many ships have been built that are much larger than the Titanic.
Sorry, don't know but if you do pleasee help!
As the ship of dreams and to be honered because it was the biggest ship in the WORLD.
Unlikely. If the Titanic hadn't sunk on its maiden voyage, it wouldn't have been remembered. Barring other accidents, it'd have remained in use unti it was no longer profitable, at which point it'd been cut up for scrap and recycled.
One of the most remembered shipwrecks was the Titanic. It sank on April 15th, 1912. It was carrying 2224 passengers. 1502 people died.
The sinking of the ship was a tragedy. It left a huge footprint. Many rules were changed of the boats, (look up on google). It is remembered. The 100th anniversary is on April 14th 2012! THE PEOPLE WHO DIED ON APRIL 14TH 1912 DUE TO THE SINKING OF THE TITANIC WILL BE REMEMBERED
Titanic has been underwater since 1912.
I never been on the Titanic, but I know that the Titanic wasn't good for room 2 and 3 passengers.
The Titanic is still in the water but some artefacts have been retrieved.
why did the titanic sink
There has only been one Titanic. A failed attempt was planned for China but there is no "New" Titanic.
In it's most official capacity, Titanic would have been RMS Titanic. (Royal Mail Ship).
