Probably about 60 to 120 degrees F. They went first thing in the Lunar morning-- remember, a lunar day is about two Earth weeks long, so "early in the morning" on the Moon lasts a long time! So it hadn't had a chance to get all that hot.
They went first thing in the morning before it heated up. Probably somewhere between 60 and 120 F. Of course, since there was no air, the only way that the heat could reach them was direct radiation from the Sun (not atomic radiation, I mean heat). Their suits were bright white to reflect the sun, and their gear and cameras were also white or shiny metal. And that backpack they wore had a sort of "air conditioner" in it, taking heat out of the suit, letting the heat transfer to water, then letting the water boil away, taking the heat with it.
The moon was cold.
