As of January 2011, there are 80 comic books, spanning from 2005. There are at least 6 more to come, however, I am not sure how much further this episodic story will carry on...
The new TV Series from AMC may help spur the story, but considering the differences between the shows and the actual books, that could be a moot point...

∙ 11y agoFor now, It is unsure how many will be made. Two seasons have already been made and the third coming up this October. The Fourth and Fifth have been mentioned by the director and have lots of plans for the next three series. I expect they will go on to do alot more than five Series.
