I think you can be any age. I am 11 and I want mine done and I think you can be any age as long as you have a parent or guardian ..... but it all depends if your tragus is big enough because they put a needle through it and maybe the ear ring could be to big x :)
8~12 weeks
60 hours.
it can take hundreds of years just to form half
It takes 4 to 6 years to grow back to the same maturity
They continue to grow in their 20 year lifespan each year getting bigger
6000 to 12000 years ago.
It depends on how long you have the piercing/ how healed it is. If you have it for longer than a year and it is all healed, it will usually stay open for awhile. Your tragus is just like the cartilage on the outer rim of your ear.
Around 4-12 months. Depends how well you look after it really.
depending on how well you take care of it and how well it was done, usually between 6 to 12 months.
It will take as long as it needs, healing time varies from person to person. If you are having issues with the piercing, this will slow the healing time down greatly because the body needs to fix what is screwed up before it can focus on closing the piercing up.
Sounds like it was done with a piercing gun, if it was done by a professional body piercer your tragus would feel just fine after three months. If it was done by a gun it's too deep take it out.
depends how long you've had it for .. if its more than 7 years pretty consistantly wearing the jewelry for it , then it will take quit a bit longer .. but more than likely it will heal up if you don't keep the jewelry in for it . HOPE THIS HELPS ! :)
It really depends on the type of piercing and long you've had the piercing.
Hold on to the back of the piercing with one hand and then twist the front bit left. (Lefty loosey, righty tighty.) I had problems undoing my tragus piercing stud because it was screwed on quite tight so I eventually went back in to the place I got it pierced and just asked them to loosen it a bit for me.
I've had my Tragus pierced for around 3 years now but I'm not allowed it in for work - how long will it take to close up? I have breaks every 2 hours and was thinking of just putting the bar back in every break but would this irritate it? Thanks! Yes, replacing it that often will definitely irritate it. Are you allowed to wear a retainer? You can get a clear glass lip retainer and it'll hide it pretty well. There isn't a way to tell how long you can leave it out. It depends on your body.
That depends on your body. Chances are that with a new piercing, it'll close up really quickly. Why not just get a clear glass retainer? Your piercer should have some. Taking it out and putting it back in frequently increases the risk of infection and irritates the piercing.
It depends on how fast your body heals, and how long you have had the piercing. The longer you have had the piercing, the longer it will take to close. This is true for all piercings.
It can take up to 12 weeks for an Industrial piercing to close up. Possibly even longer, as long as you clean the area with salen solution it will heal up just fine, DO NOT turn, the piercing it will do that by daily wear. And DO NOT take the piercing out, the skin will grow back together very quickly and cause the punctures to close, meaning you just paid for a piercing, that is no good anymore.
