Unfortunatly there are no direct flights from Palmerston North to Hamilton. You have to go through Auckland to get to Hamilton. The flight time to Auckland is about 1 hour and about 20 minutes to Hamilton but you will probably have to wait in Auckland for an hour at least. I have flown to Tauranga once, a smilar distance than that to Hamilton and found it as just as quick to drive.
