Titanic lasted two hours and forty minutes after the collision before she went below the surface of the Atlantic - and it's believed that the bow and stern took about 5-6 minutes to fall until they crashed on the seabed.

The Titanic was sunk by a collision with an iceberg, not with another ship.

The 'berg did not penetrate her hull very much- it is now thought that it punched a hole in it rather than tore a gash. It put just enough pressure on her hull plates to burst the rivets and cause a 300ft section of the front starboard bow to collapse inwards. If it entered the hull at all, it would only have been by about 3 or 4 inches at the most.
