No. It is its own country. Unless of course you are talking about North America (Continent), which is a much different concept. The answer then would be: Yes, Canada is a part of the continent North America.

South Dakota to Canada
As the Earth is a circular shape, the continent technically above Canada is Asia. ----- Asia for sure but is it circular or an oblate spheroid? I suspect either is good enough for this answer but thought I would point it out.
Canada
Winnipeg, Manitoba, is almost the longitudinal centre of Canada. If a line were drawn straight south from Winnipeg, that line would not pass through any part of continental South America.
Well, it depends on your actual position. If you are in the middle of the continental United States, Canada would be on the north and Mexico on the south. If you were on Alaska, Canada would be to the east while Mexico would be to the southeast. If you were on South America, both would be to the north, and so on.
Raccoons are found in a variety of habitats from southern Canada south into much of South America, east of the Andes Mountains.

No. It's in North America. In Canada. Would have been easier to google Quebec City and find an answer than to post here.
The South Atlantic.
Someone from South America would come from the continent South America. There are two continents by the name America, north America and south America.
By "in America", that would mean Canada, United States, and South America. If you mean only in the US, there are vast areas of swamps in the south-eastern States. But as well, wetlands exist in many States across the US. They would be too numerous to count.
