How many clothes are taken along on Amazing Race?

It is up to each team to determine how many clothes to pack for the Amazing Race. In some locations extra gear provided, or clothing provided by the teams is available for their use (in the snow, for example) - but otherwise they are required to carry their gear on the backs for the duration of the competition. Viewers of the series know that some teams are more "fashionista" than others, and are willing to carry a greater variety of clothing than others. In addition there are competitors that lose their backpacks along the way, and are stuck wearing the same clothing day in and day out for the duration of their competition.. One of the members of the Season 22 winning team lost his backpack a few legs before the end, but was lucky to have his passport on his person... so he wore what he had right until they claimed their victory at the final matt.
