There were 16 rigid wooden lifeboats, each one of which was capable of holding 60 people, plus four collapsible Englehardt boats, which had rigid keels and waterproof canvas sides that could be raised and propped up with wooden stakes.
None of the latter were salvaged, and presumably eventually sank or ended up just drifting about the ocean until they either rotted to pieces or washed up on some remote shore. All but three of the rigids were salvaged by the rescue ship RMS Carpathia, the three that weren't were set adrift- however, one of these was upturned and another one half-sunken anyway, so they themselves probably ended up going down in rough weather.
