In the 2005 Eurobarometer poll, 23 per cent of the Swedish population said they believed in a personal God. It can be assumed that most of this 23 per cent would be Christians. So, around 75 per cent of the Swedish population are not Christians. However, many Swedes remain enrolled as Church members, and a surprisingly high proportion of weddings are conducted in a church.
