How many people you have dated was actually in love?

I'm not sure what the question is, but I've loved far more women than I've dated. There are times when no matter how much I loved someone, I knew it won't work. No matter how hard I tried, or how much I wanted it, there simply isn't a soul level connection. Those are the times when I accepted them as my dear and close friend and moved on while they did the same. Those women have been my friends for almost 40 years. A friend is forever, but lovers come and go.
