How many seasons are there for The Walking Dead?

Many have assumed many more are to come but it depends on the budget of AMC and many more factors. I personally would say that we will get to at least Season 8 with no problem, but that won't be until 2018 or later.

So far, we know that 5 series are to come from amc. I doubt they will stop at 5 though, the creator of the series has ideas for the next few series in mind already.
