There are at least 8 different rounds involving the puzzle board and they are divided into 5 sections. 2 rounds before the spinning begins with prizes of $1,000 and $2,000. The winner of the $2,000 puzzle then starts the next set of 3 rounds. One for each contestant to have a chance to start the round. Another round with the signalling devices to see who starts the final contestant rounds and also who gets the $3,000 prize for solving that puzzle. Then it depends on the time, normally it is only one more round. Pat has been know to say that they have time for another round. After the rounds with the 3 contestants stop there is the bonus round. There are also the time before the show where Pat and Vanna walk out and the time after the bonus round where Pat and Vanna kill any remaining time.
