An American Robin' egg may be turned three times a day, to keep the embryo from sticking to the shell. The egg must be kept at 100 degrees, or it will die. Under the Migratory Bird Law Treaty Act, you may not keep the eggs; they should be taken to a Wildlife Rehabilitator ASAP.
