David was anointed 3 times. We don't know the age of David at his first anointing, but he did not become king at that time ( I Samuel 16:1-13). David was anointed king of Judah at age 33, about 1004 B.C. (II Samuel 2:4) and king over all Israel at age 40, about 997 B.C. (II Samuel 5:2) and reigned until 965 B.C.

The prophet in question did not actually crown King David; he just anointed him as a future successor. It was the prophet Samuel son of Hannah who originally 'anointed' David, declaring that he would be king in front of his brothers. However, David did not ascend to the throne at that time. It wasn't until David was 30 years old that 'the older men' from only one tribe, the tribe of Judah at Hebron, anointed David as King. Saul's surviving son (Ish-Bosheth) was king for the other tribes, until his assassination 2 two years later. It was only then that the other tribes came under David's Kingship.
David ordered the execution of the Amalekite because the man claimed to have killed Saul, the anointed king of Israel. David viewed Saul as God's chosen leader, and killing him was seen as a grave offense deserving of death. The Amalekite’s admission was perceived as an act of treachery, and David sought to uphold the sanctity of God's anointed. This act highlighted David's deep respect for God's authority and the seriousness of his covenant with Saul.
David was anointed two times in the bible, once when the prophet came to meet Jesse and anoint his son David, the second was when he was chosen as king.

Yes.
King Saul and King David were both anointed by the prophet Samuel. (1 Samuel 10:1) Samuel then took the flask of oil and poured it out on Saul's head. He kissed him and said: "Has not Jehovah anointed you as a leader over his inheritance? (1 Samuel 16:13) 13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers. And the spirit of Jehovah began to empower David from that day forward. Samuel later rose and went his way to Ra′mah.
