A movie stays in theatre for as long as it remains profitable to run it, once ticket sales fall below a cretain level it is removed.
It comes out on April 10, 2009 in Canada and U.S.A. It will probably stay in theaters for about 5 weeks in most Ciniplex theaters. im not sure but its this month so buy your tickets online because they sell out quick because she's a really popular girl that everybody wants to go see in the theaters. Depends which country you live in. I think for the U.S.A. it will come out on the 10th of April which means... Tomorrow!
That depends on how successful the movie is. Some movies have lasted less than a week in theaters, as they do very poorly. These days, a run of two months is excellent, since movies don't stay in theaters very long so that they can be released into the home video market. (When Star Wars was first released in 1977, it remained in theaters for over one and a half years!)
The movie was released on December 18, 2009. When a movie is a success it can stay in theaters for awhile, sometimes 12 or more weeks. Occasionally checking advanced local listings can provide insight on when a movie might be ending in an area.
It depends. If the film is quite popular, such as the new film Hunger Games, then it'll be there a while. Most movies that are popular stay a few weeks or even a month or two. Alternatively, the lesser known independent films, or ones with bad reviews only stay for about 2 to 3 weeks. Some films only stay in the theater as "special" one-week only showings to get you hyped up & bring more revenue. Overall, it varies.
7-9 weeks
It depends on the movie and how many tickets it sells. Some movie are gone in one week, and "blockbusters" play for many weeks.
On average a movie will stay in theaters for 7 or 8 weeks. For a very profitable movie, it can be longer and for a poor performer it can be shorter. I can't imagine Eclipse being in theaters past mid-September 2010.
if its a really bad movie then two or three days but if its a good movie then it can last for weeks. maybe months
In the UK, it will stay for about two months :)
