The musical has been shown for 12 years on Broadway and West End, and the film has been shown for 15 years.Hope I helped![ The Lion King Musical: 1997The Lion King: 1994 ]
There are three Lion King films: The Lion King (1994), The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (1998), and The Lion King 1½ (2004).All movies have TopRater: toprater.com/en/movies/objects/2860938-the-lion-king-1994
So far, there are three Lion King films. I only know of The Lion King, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, and The Lion King 1½. The order in which you can watch them chronologically is The Lion King, The Lion King 1½, and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.
Three. The Lion King, The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride and The Lion King 1½: Hakuna Matata which is semi-officially called "The Lion King 3" (as in, in European DVD releases' covers.) There are lots of rumours that there's gonna be "The Lion King 4" but there is no official source for that - besides it would likely be The Lion King 3 if there ever was going to be a fourth movie because as said the third made is most officially 1½ and not 3.
Mufasa and his mate Sarabi have one son, Simba, at the beginning of the first lion king movie.

The Lion King is a well-known Disney movie portraying the life of a lion cub as he grows into his new role as king upon his father's death. Other definitions of lion king are sexual in nature and are referred to in many urban dictionaries.

That number is almost impossible to know. Many people almost certainly do, but historically sequels do not do as well as the original film.
Many of Shakespeare's plots are recycled: Hamlet is retold in The Lion King. Disney's Pocahontas is a Romeo and Juliet story, as is the opera Aida and the musical West Side Story.
Davy Liu of Kendu Films created the characters in Lion King, but probably many other people worked on drawing the pictures.
The lion is the king of beasts because it is named after King Leonidas who conquered many fights. The lion got the name because of the mane, which gives it a regal look. They don't want to know how it got it's name. The mane is kind of like a crown for the lions, which makes it a 'king'. The lion is also strong, fast, and can destroy any other animal that gets in its way. (Except for the elephant, the lion has to be in a group to.)The lion is called the King Of Beasts, but in reality, it is the second most powerful cat, after the somewhat larger tiger.Lions are often referred to as "the king of the beasts."The Lion.
The lion has been a British symbol for many years and is symbolic of British strength and courage, and royalty, since the lion is known as the king of the beasts. The lion on the 10 Pence coin is described as being "passant guardant" (right paw raised with all others on the ground).
