How much better will the graphics get on the ps3 in the future?

This is a hard question to answer because with the increasing development of technology, the improvements may only cease once the graphics have reached real life standards. What I'm trying to say is that with the constant updates such as whatever the next PS or Xbox will be the graphics can only get better. I wouldn't even doubt that in a couple of decades gaming will be like the Matrix in that it will be done through Virtual Reality and our minds will be transported into a seemingly real game.
