The first season has 26 episodes, while the second season contains 24. There is also a one-episode OVA entitled "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: Nekogoroshi-hen," and a five-episode OVA entitled "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei," which should be watched after the first two series have been completed.

Abbys father character has never been used in NCIS. Per the storyline, I think Abbys dad is dead. In one of the episodes she tells Ziva that she would forgive her dad for any mistake he had done, if he were alive.

Drama can be a play, depending how it is written. Many dramas on tv could have originally started as a play done on stage but have been adapted to tv formats. Lots of television shows are dramas that have been extended to countless episodes.
Each season of 24 contains roughly 24 episodes of the show. This was intentionally done to mimic the tv show's name sake in the number of episodes on the DVD.
