It is 90.3% silver and has .7859 troy ounces of silver. However, 1910-1914 Mexican pesos are collector coins with values that exceed bullion prices for all but the most worn examples. While they have less than $20 worth of silver in them, even worn coins can be worth $50 on eBay and values jump into the hundreds of dollars for better grade coins.
If you are referring to the Eisenhower and Anthony dollars of the 1970s, they're only worth face value. If you're referring to the much older Peace and Morgan dollars, these were made of silver and their values depend on the price of silver, how worn the coins are, what their dates are, and where they were minted. They have a minimum value of $25 to $30. Here are links to values of Peace and Morgan dollars:
Firstly the coin is not made from silver and brass. The centre is of a golden coloured alloy and the ring of an silver coloured alloy. Secondly, as for value, that depends on the rarity of the coin. There is much hype on the value of the R5 Mandela coins. I think only a select few coins are really valuable. The rest are mere circulation coins with a value equal to its face value, for now anyway. Who knows how much such circulation coins will be worth in 50 years time? I think a lot of people spending a lot of money on Mandela R5 coins will be disappointed. Caveat emptor.
The eight reales coin in fine condition (readable date and inscriptions) is worth about one hundred U.S, dollars Coins of lesser quality are worth their weight in silver, currently forty dollars an ounce. Some coins command a high price due to their attachment to a specific shipwreck or other notable history.
Many of the coins are valued in price close to $10 each. The exact amount that the coin is worth will depend upon its condition.

Pre-1965 silver coins are worth more for the silver than face value.
Yes. Silver coins are worth more than face value.
They are bullion coins and are worth only what the metals they are composed of are worth.
Depends on the date. 1964 coins are 90% silver and worth $10-11 depending on the price of silver, 1965-1970 coins are 40% silver and worth about $4-5 depending on the price of silver and coins dated 1971-date have no silver and are worth just 50 cents.
Now its 100 coins and silver is worth 200 coins.
